Garments are assembled as an endless flirt between strong and fragile, outlining the opulent look. Each collection is a personal chronicle, present captivation and a fresh breath of desire.
Throughout previous number of seasons, George Bezhanishvili has created timeless menswear garments for his collections – researching, mastering and analyzing unique handmade clothing while founding sumptuous, well-built masculine ambience. Bezhanishvili’s collections are produced at full size range, in limited amounts to ensure the exclusivity of each piece.
GEORGE BEZHANISHVILI
George Bezhanishvili graduated with exceptional nobility from the University of Applied Arts in Vienna, under professorship of Veronique Branquino and Bernhard Willhelm. His collections have been presented on runways at Berlin, London, Vancouver and New York Fashion Weeks. While a student, designer rapidly managed to seize the attention of the European fashion press as well as retailers and industry insiders, gaining numerous prizes and awards as praiseworthy fashion scholar.
In late 2011 Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, Arts and Culture with Austrian Fashion Association named Bezhanishvili an Outstanding Artist of the Year. Shortly after Bezhanishvili moved to United States to collaborate with such American brands as 3.1 Phillip Lim and The Row. Designer’s work has been featured in Vogue Italy, Wallpaper magazine, Dazed and Confused, Citizen K International, Fashionisto, Dash Magazine among others.
George Bezhanishvili lives and works in New York City, taking in consideration that his collections are manufactured in US, designer actively supports high-end garment production in United States.
